Opening for a film explanation

Opening for a film

An opening for a film always has opening credits, such as, the director, sound and production and sometimes the actors in the film. Opening credits/titles are shown at the very beginning and list the most important members of the production. They are now usually shown as text on a blank screen or sometime on top of action in the show. Sometimes opening credits can be built into a separate film sequence of their own; the correct term is title sequence you will find this on familiar films such as James Bond and Pink Panther.

Film titles are usually made up from being short and snappy, so not too long because this could bore the audience. The credits on film titles will always name the main actors and who produced/directed the film.
